Ron Hannaford, P.Eng.
Senior Well Control Specialist
Mr. Hannaford has over 35 years Drilling/Engineering experience in North America and the Middle East, both onshore and offshore. As Vice President of the Middle East Region for one of the world largest drilling contractors Ron was in charge of a number of 1500 and 2000 HP Rigs. In 1983, he took over responsibility for drilling operations in Yemen with 11 rigs. From 1990 to 1995, Ron was directly responsible for operations in Turkey, Syria, Bulgaria and Jordan.

As a Drilling Engineer with companies such as Halliburton Canada Limited, Chevron, Canadian Occidental Petroleum, Nabors Drilling and Westburne International Drilling Ltd., Ron has comprehensive experience in all drilling practices, rig design & construction, remote area operations and well control and blow out prevention.
