Fall Protection Safety

Working at height is always a concern in any industry. Over the years, the concern has grown due to the lack of competency based training and effective equipment selection. Fall protection regulations are usually mandated starting at a height of 3m and above. Safety Boss offers two levels of training which address the need for proper training and safe operating procedures.

Level I Orientation Level

This half-day (4 hour) training introduces a safe and reliable approach to working at height. This program will go through selection, use and maintenance of fall protection equipment and related procedures.
Level II General User

This one-day (8 hour) course gives added reinforcement for the need to have proven safe operating procedures and the necessary equipment to accomplish a safe and efficient operation. This course will involve hands-on scenarios that will include choosing proper fall protection equipment, recognizing fall hazards and the need for proper fall protection procedures.

Each year, confined space work results in numerous accidents and fatalities.

Regulations targeting confined spaces vary from province to province, state to state and even country to country.

The common goal of these regulations is to prevent loss of life, protect the environment and optimize production.

It is the obligation of the employer to provide safe and proven operating procedures, training, as well as rescue procedures if need arises.

Safety Boss offers four levels of confined space training and safety management programs designed to address the workers safety while working in and around confined spaces. The following is a range of courses available through Safety Boss:
